Terms of service
Last updated 15 September 2026
These terms are an agreement between you and [Your full legal name], a sole trader trading as flodots (“we”, “us”), for your use of flodots videos at https://videos.flodots.uk (“the service”). By creating an account or using the service, you agree to them. If you don’t agree, don’t use the service.
1. Who we are
- Operator: [Your full legal name], a sole trader trading as flodots
- Address: [Postal address]
- Email: support@flodots.uk
2. What the service does
The service lets you upload a video and publish it to YouTube, TikTok and Facebook accounts you connect. It checks your video against each platform’s requirements and warns you about likely problems, then uploads it in the background. It currently supports YouTube; TikTok and Facebook are coming soon. The service is at an early stage and is currently free. If we introduce paid plans, we’ll show the price and any extra terms before you pay.
3. Your account
- You must be at least 18 to use the service.
- Keep your login details secure. You’re responsible for activity on your account.
- Tell us straight away at support@flodots.uk if you think someone else has accessed your account.
4. Connecting platforms
When you connect a platform, you let us act on that account for you: to publish the videos you submit, with the details you choose. We don’t post anything you haven’t submitted. You can disconnect a platform at any time on your dashboard.
You must follow each platform’s own terms when you use it through the service:
- YouTube: the service uses YouTube API Services. By using the service’s YouTube features, you agree to be bound by the YouTube Terms of Service. Google’s use of your data is covered by the Google Privacy Policy.
- TikTok: the TikTok Terms of Service and Community Guidelines.
- Facebook: the Meta Terms of Service and Community Standards.
We don’t control these platforms. They may reject, limit, restrict or remove videos, change how their APIs work, set daily upload limits, or make posts private until they have approved our app. If a platform does any of this, we’ll show you the result where we can, but we can’t guarantee a post will be published or seen.
5. Your content
- You keep ownership of the videos and text you upload.
- You give us a limited permission to store, process and send your content to the platforms you choose, only so we can provide the service. It ends when your content is deleted from our systems.
- You confirm you own your content or have every right needed to publish it, including rights to any music, footage and people shown. You also confirm it complies with the law and the terms of each platform you post it to.
- We delete uploaded video files 48 hours after posting finishes (see the privacy policy). The service isn’t a backup, so keep your own copies.
6. Things you must not do
- upload anything illegal, infringing, abusive or sexually explicit, or anything that sexualises or endangers children;
- post spam or misleading content, or use the service to manipulate platform metrics;
- connect accounts you aren’t authorised to use;
- try to break, overload, probe or get around the security of the service;
- use the service in a way that breaks a platform’s terms or gets our app’s access to that platform limited.
7. Suspension and ending the agreement
You can stop using the service at any time and ask us to delete your account (see the privacy policy). We may suspend or close your account if you seriously or repeatedly break these terms, or if a platform or the law requires it. We’ll tell you why unless we’re legally unable to. If we decide to shut the service down, we’ll give you at least 30 days’ notice where we reasonably can.
8. Availability and changes to the service
We work to keep the service running and to provide it with reasonable care and skill, but it may sometimes be unavailable for maintenance, because of faults, or because a platform’s service is down. We may change or remove features. If a change significantly affects you, we’ll tell you in advance where we can.
9. Our responsibility to you
- Nothing in these terms limits liability that cannot legally be limited, including for death or personal injury caused by negligence, or for fraud. If you use the service as a consumer, nothing here affects your statutory rights, including under the Consumer Rights Act 2015.
- We aren’t responsible for what YouTube, TikTok, Facebook or other third parties do. That includes removing your content, suspending your accounts, changing their services, or losses caused by their outages.
- If you use the service for business purposes, we aren’t liable for loss of profit, revenue, business opportunity or audience. Our total liability to you under these terms is limited to the greater of £100 and the amount you paid us in the 12 months before the claim.
10. Changes to these terms
We may update these terms, for example when we add platforms or paid plans. We’ll change the date at the top and, for significant changes, tell you by email or on the dashboard before they take effect. If you keep using the service after that, the new terms apply.
11. Law and disputes
These terms are governed by the law of England and Wales, and the courts of England and Wales have jurisdiction. If you live elsewhere in the UK, you can also bring proceedings in your local courts. If something goes wrong, please contact us first at support@flodots.uk so we can try to put it right.
